Charpak Ltd operates with a high moral and ethical code of contact, as expressed in the Charpak Charter. Customer
We will use your data to help us conduct the day-to-day running of your account. This could be by email, text, telephone or written communications including letters, order confirmations, contracts and invoices. On occasion we will send you information and updates about Charpak products and services that are relevant to your dealings with our business.

 

Prospects
We collect personal data for the purpose of our Legitimate Interests, and have completed a Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA). Data is processed for the purpose of conducting business with companies who have a business need and requirement for packaging and NPD advice; packaging consultancy; and technical materials information and services related to the design and manufacture of packaging.

What personal data do we collect?
We operate a data minimisation policy, and will only capture warranted, necessary and relevant data in order to meet the services expected and required by the personal data subject. We will collect personal data you submit to us, for example, when you make an enquiry, request a quotation, place orders or contact our team. This data includes your full name, telephone number, job title, email address and postal address.

 

What do we do with your information?
Your information is stored in our company databases within the European Economic Area (EEA) and, where appropriate, may be shared with third party courier and distribution companies to deliver your products and services.

 

Your information may also be shared with BeStrategic and PCP Market Research for the purpose of conducting customer satisfaction surveys. This is used solely for the purpose of monitoring delivery of, modifying and improving our offer and services.

Customer
Where we are exploring negotiations to provide you with the benefit of our services outlined above, contractual requirements, or the delivery of products and services we will keep your data to fulfil the required services, or for as long as we are required by law.

 

Marketing
Your information is kept until you object to processing, or a maximum of 2 years where we have not conducted any business. If you object to processing, your details will be added to our global suppression list.
